How ClipScout works

The public experience stays source-neutral while the control plane keeps each connector explicit and accountable.

  1. 01DiscoverEnabled connectors are queried independently so one upstream failure cannot erase the complete feed.
  2. 02Normalize and rankResults merge into one provider-neutral pool, then title fit, authority, audience, and metadata quality determine order.
  3. 03Resolve and containThe selected media is tokenized server-side and delivered through ClipScout’s same-origin proxy without exposing provider URLs or headers.

Discovery fabric

Platforms in play

Enabled sources participate in the combined, source-neutral result feed. Disabled sources are excluded from search and playback resolution.
